2009 Invitation

Dear friends:

On behalf of Michigan Taiwanese American Organization, I cordially invite you to three events this coming weekend.  In order to help us better prepare, please respond to this message to inform us which events you are able to come to and the number of people in your party.  Details are listed below.
1. TMF Honors Concert on Saturday, Oct. 17 at Greenhills School
2. Seminar by Dr. Lim on Sunday, Oct. 18 (2-3pm) at FXB Building, UM North Campus
3. Reception for Dr. Lim on Sunday, Oct. 18 (3:30-5:30pm), University Commons, 817 Asa Gray Drive (off Plymouth, north of Huron High School, Ann Arbor).

FXB (Francois-Xavier Bagnoud) Building of the Aerospace Department is located at the corner of Hayward and Beal, and east of GG Brown/Dow/Computer Science complex (map attached).  The nearest, best parking option on a Sunday afternoon is the surface lot east of the building on Hayward.

The reception following the seminar will take place at University Commons, which is around the corner from FXB Building, but may be too far to walk on a cold day.  Parking is limited at the University Commons.  You may choose to car-pool with friends from the seminar or drive to the Glazier Way parking lot (northwest corner of Plymouth and Glazier Way).   We will run a couple of shuttles between the Glazier Way lot lot and the University Commons.  It is not ideal, but one of the best options for a nice facility for a cozy reception.  We appreciate your understanding and supports.

Look forward to hearing from you and meeting you this weekend.

Sincerely,
Tzywen Gong, President,
Michigan Taiwanese American Organization
